Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms (WSF) offers a 12-month Manager in Training program designed to grow early talent into future leaders. Participants will rotate through plant operations, live production, and relevant business functions, with mentorship from senior leadership.

Candidates must have a college degree and 0–5 years of experience, and relocation within the company footprint is required. Expect leadership training, accountability, and rapid development to drive organizational impact.

Qualifications

• College degree required (associate, bachelor’s or graduate) OR completed college degree by MIT start date.
• 0–5 years of experience.
• Must be able to relocate within company geographic footprint.

Responsibilities

• Learn day-to-day operations under mentors in all assigned departments to understand operations, processes and performance standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, including root cause, and implement creative solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with senior leadership to lead daily activities of frontline associates.
• Make principled decisions daily by applying LEAP philosophy and following safety initiatives.
• Follow the company vision to create meaningful personal and subordinate goals and support zero-accident culture.
