Job summary

SBM is seeking a Manager in Training to develop emerging leaders through a rigorous 9-week program with on-the-job training and structured professional development. Graduates gain hands-on operations experience, mentorship from site and client leadership, and a pathway to advanced operations roles.

The role includes coordinating planning, budgeting, and supervision across SBM's client contracts, with emphasis on safety, quality, and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Relocation to role required.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing work schedules to ensure adequate service.
• Prepare schedules for service personnel, assigns personnel to routes.
• Assist with inspection and evaluation of establishment for program compliance (safety, quality, service).
• Assist with inventory supplies and equipment.
• Investigate and promote improved equipment and methods.
• Review customer requests for service to ascertain cause and address with manager.
• Assist with policies and goals implementation and execution.
• Inspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities.
• Assist with budget, cost estimates, bid sheets and contracts.
• Participate in long-range planning and capital outlay requirements for improvements.
• Assist with coordination of program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors.
