Job summary

Oasis Powersports is seeking an entry level technician to join our dealership operations as a dual-role builder and mechanic. You will assemble powersports vehicles, load/unload inventory, and document any shipping damage for the Service Manager.

A supportive, team-oriented environment awaits with opportunities to grow skills in a busy shop. The ideal candidate has basic mechanical knowledge, a willingness to learn, and owns a basic set of tools.

Qualifications

• Own a basic set of tools for assembling powersports vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inventory and document shipping damage with photos and notes for repairs.
• Assemble Powersports vehicles according to the manufacturer checklist.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace; check fluids and tire pressures; perform basic maintenance and oil changes.

Oasis Powersports is looking for an entry level technician for our dealership operations. Our entry level tech will play a dual role of builder and mechanic. If you are seeking an opportunity in a cool environment with awesome people, look no further!

If you possess basic mechanical knowledge with regards to powersports, know how to use a set of tools, and are looking to gain more experience wrenching, apply below!

Main Responsibilities:

• Load and Unload inventory.
• Provide detailed documentation of any shipping damage, including photos and parts needed for repairs immediately to the Service Manager.
• Assemble Powersports vehicles according to the checklist provided by the manufacturer.
• Clean up the shop after each individual job/build is complete.
• Check fluids, tire pressure, and adjustments on all units.
• Perform basic maintenance and oil changes as requested.
• Install/Change tires.
• Assist with other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with basic maintenance items on bikes or cars strongly desired
• Capable of moving large, heavy units (some up to 850 pounds fully dressed)
• Team Oriented- Works well with Managers, Technicians, and Customers
• Maintain an organized, tidy, and safe workspace.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
• Ability to be on your feet most of the day.
• Hands-on experience in a powersports dealership handling basic maintenance items on bikes and assembling powersports vehicles, desired.
• Own a basic set of tools for assembling powersports vehicles.
