Archadeck Outdoor Living in Nebraska is seeking carpentry professionals to work on residential building and remodeling projects, delivering finished work per contract specs and client expectations. Strong carpentry background, reading plans, and adherence to processes are essential.

Responsibilities include coordinating crew, checking take-offs, managing materials with the franchisee, maintaining a safe, orderly site, and maintaining strong client relations.

Qualifications

• Carpentry techniques across interior and exterior work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employees to follow construction drawings.
• Check drawings against sales design drawings for accuracy.
• Check materials against take-off and report shortages.
• Establish and follow a project schedule with the franchisee.
• Maintain an orderly, safe job site and ensure safety practices.
• Maintain positive relations with customers.
• Refer problems to the franchisee for resolution.
• Contact franchisee to resolve issues promptly.
• Comply with the Subcontractor Agreement signed.

  We are Archadeck Outdoor Living, North America’s leading designer and builder of outdoor living spaces such as decks, porches, sunrooms, hardscape patios, and shade structures.

We seek construction professionals with established carpentry expertise to work on our residential building & remodeling projects and capability to carry forward our design and build excellence and brand reputation. You will primarily be responsible for delivering the finished product to the satisfaction of the contract specifications, customer expectations, building officials, and the Archadeck business team. Previous carpentry experience with residential projects is required, as are strong interpersonal communication skills with our team and clients and a strong work ethic with the ability to follow our documented processes and build specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate your employees to ensure they understand and work to construction drawings in compliance with the specified details
• Check construction drawings with sales design drawings to ensure adequacy and accuracy of information
• Check materials delivered against take-off and inform franchisee of shortages to allow for the prompt delivery of missing items and uninterrupted workflow
• Establish and follow a schedule with the franchisee
• Maintain an orderly job site by cleaning up daily and assuring safety practices are utilized
• Maintain positive relations with customers
• Refer all problems to the franchisee for resolution
• Contact franchisee if necessary to resolve immediately
• Comply with the Subcontractor Agreement as signed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Clean and neat appearance
• Good communication and people skills
• Willing to learn and follow documented processes
• Ability to work specified details and quality assurance checklist independently
• A thorough background in good carpentry techniques, framing, and trim, exterior and interior, the foundation through roof
• Ability to read and interpret plans and check take-offs
• Ability to lay out footings or foundations
• Ability to determine elevations
• Valid CT contractors License (HIC) and workers compensation insurance for you and your carpentry assistant

Compensation: $80.00 per hour
