Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Senior Director of the Future of Work to shape how work, roles, skills, and workforce models evolve with AI and automation. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, align HR, Technology, and Operations, and translate strategy into scalable workforce solutions.

The role manages budgets, governance, and a 1–3 year roadmap, with responsibilities spanning governance, stakeholder influence, and data-driven decision making. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams or large functions.
• Advanced leadership and management capability, including workforce planning.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills for senior leaders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, translating strategy into operational solutions.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multidisciplinary Future of Work function across work design, analytics, and AI/automation architecture.
• Own and manage the Future of Work budget and resource planning.
• Develop and drive the 1–3 year roadmap and operating model for the function.
• Redesign work and workforce models in response to AI and evolving needs.
• Establish governance, standards, and execution approaches for the function.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning HR, Technology, and Operations and influence senior leaders.
• Drive data-backed decisions on future-state roles and productivity improvements.
• Define metrics to evaluate impact and inform priorities.
• Build and lead a high-performing team including talent planning and development.
