Job summary

Hebrew Public is seeking dedicated future middle school teachers for grades 6–8 in Philadelphia. This evergreen posting opens as staffing needs arise, and candidates may be contacted when opportunities fit.

The Opportunity

Middle school teachers specialize in a core subject area, with potential opportunities to teach English Language Arts, Math, or Science/Social Studies. Teachers create rigorous, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences that challenge students academically while supporting their development as confident, independent learners and global citizens.

Who You Are

Pennsylvania Special Education teacher certification, or active progress toward certification, is preferred. Experience providing highly individualized instruction, supporting students through push-in or pull-out services, or leading a classroom for students with moderate support needs is also preferred. For moderate‑needs classroom roles, experience leading and supporting paraprofessionals is strongly preferred
