Genesis Administrative Services LLC in Alabama offers the Future Leaders MDS Coordinator in Training program to develop clinical reimbursement leaders in skilled nursing. The role focuses on MDS, care planning, and documentation with mentorship from experienced leaders.

You’ll learn MDS 3.0, PDPM, scheduling, and quality measures while contributing to high-quality resident outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse (RN or LPN) required.
• Willingness to learn MDS 3.0, RAI, CAAs and PDPM methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret clinical documentation.
• Proficient reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Experience with or ability to learn electronic medical record systems (e.g., PCC).
• Must meet health requirements including tuberculosis testing as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Engage in a six–ten month structured development program to build MDS process competencies.
• Support accurate documentation and optimization of reimbursement under PDPM.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to reflect resident care needs in assessments.
