Job summary

BMO Financial Group offers a 16‑month Business & Operations Development Program designed to recruit, hire, and develop future leaders through three 5‑month rotations. Participants gain hands-on experience, access to training, and exposure to executive leadership to launch a high-potential career in banking.

The program supports the research, development, and execution of business initiatives, with a focus on analytics, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration across U.S. Banking and COO.

Qualifications

• Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience and a post‑secondary degree in related field or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotations to gain exposure to multiple roles in the program.
• Support research, development, and execution of business initiatives.
• Design and produce reports and dashboards for stakeholder decision‑making.
• Conduct market research, forecasting, and competitive analysis.
• Analyze product risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
