Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Madison, WI is seeking a Leader in Training (LIT) and Floor Leader to drive sales, merchandising, and operations. You will work with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit Teammates, manage displays, and deliver a superior shopping experience through knowledge and engaging service.

This role emphasizes leadership, product knowledge, and adherence to store policies while maintaining a high-energy, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 months related retail experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Assist Guests with questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Recommend, locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to Guests and teammates.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Lead by example with high showmanship and customer service; support leadership.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of Teammates to meet standards.
• Ensure store operations run smoothly, including POS procedures and loss prevention practices.
• Maintain a clean, shoppable store and follow Buckle policies and ethics.
