Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Fusion Center Analyst Shift Lead in Las Vegas to actively manage uptime of our robotaxi and test fleet. You will lead a team, perform live troubleshooting of hardware and software, and capture details in Jira while coordinating with Fleet Operations and TeleGuidance.

You will ensure SLA adherence, mentor analysts, and work hands-on with operators and engineers to diagnose issues, escalate when needed, and drive process improvements across Zoox platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a high-level collaborative environment promoting teamwork.
• 2+ years in technical troubleshooting, ideally within automotive/transportation.
• Proven ability to improve operational efficiency.
• Experience in a complex technical environment.
• Proactive mindset and resourcefulness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Excellent collaboration and ability to explain complex tech to varied audiences.
• Data analysis and interpretation proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety-centric, inclusive culture and provide written/oral performance feedback with direct reports.
• Become knowledge experts on all Zoox platforms.
• Interact with contractors to answer questions and ensure understanding of assignments.
• Act as a “player/coach” and first point of contact for escalations.
• Perform initial diagnosis and troubleshooting using telemetry data and software to identify root causes.
• Escalate unresolved issues and ensure timely intervention by higher-level teams.
• Document resolution processes to inform training and improvements.
• Analyze historical data to identify trends and implement preventive measures.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, operators, engineers, and management.
• Support on-call rotation with the possibility of day, swing, and mid-shift.
