Job summary

CORT USA, a leading provider of furniture rental services, is hiring a Warehouse Associate in North Bergen, NJ. This full-time role supports loading/unloading trucks, staging furniture, and ensuring items are rental-ready for delivery teams.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential overtime. You will be cross-trained across warehousing tasks, maintain inventory, and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred; priority to more experienced.
• Forklift certification preferred; on-job certification provided.
• Physically able to move furniture; able to lift 50+ pounds regularly or 100 pounds with a partner.
• Able to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, stand-up reach trucks.
• Must pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks for daily routes with care and correct item placement.
• Pull and stage furniture for next-day deliveries with accuracy.
• Clean, touch up, and repair furniture to ensure rental readiness.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse and handle waste.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Participate in safety meetings and comply with safety regulations.
• Assist drivers on deliveries when needed.
• Take part in special projects as assigned.
