Ashley Furniture in Tulsa is seeking a Sales Associate for Ashley 71st location. The role is on-site and full-time with pay starting at $20 per hour during training, then either hourly or commission-based for the first 90 days, followed by commission thereafter.

Weekend availability is required as part of the schedule. Responsibilities include promoting and selling showroom merchandise, assisting customers, handling orders, and coordinating with other departments to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell merchandise displayed on show room floor.
• Work directly with internal and external customers.
• Follow up with customer orders and inquiries; assist with issues with merchandise in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
• Ask customers about products, prices, availability, and uses to understand needs.
• Explain product features and benefits to customers.
• Prepare sales tickets for orders obtained.
• Assist customers in selecting products based on specifications.
