Mathis Home in Ardmore, OK is seeking a full-time Sales Associate for the Ashley Ardmore location. The role offers $20 per hour during a 2-week training period, then either $20 per hour or commission, whichever is greater, for the first 90 days. After 90 days, compensation becomes straight commission with no cap.

The position involves helping customers, processing orders, and coordinating with departments to meet customer needs, with a strong emphasis on product knowledge and service.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift merchandise up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to walk or stand for long periods.
• Sales experience preferred, not required.
• Excellent customer relations and communication.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell merchandise displayed on show room floor.
• Work directly with internal and external customers.
• Follow up with customer orders and inquiries.
• Assist with problems related to merchandise with customer service and warehouse teams.
• Explain product features and benefits to customers based on their needs.
• Prepare sales tickets for orders obtained.
• Assist customers in product selections based on specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of new products and store promotions.
