Stantec is seeking a mid-level Interior Designer to join our Houston team, delivering furniture planning and interior design solutions within an interdisciplinary group. The role supports FAA projects, develops space plans, and collaborates with clients, vendors and project teams to deliver high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Interior Design or related field.
• Licensed or pursuing Interior Design Licensure is preferred.
• Portfolio required.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience is preferred (May be a combination of work experience and furniture industry experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead client programming, budgeting, scheduling, concept development and presenting design solutions for approval.
• Develop space plans, furniture specifications, construction documents and RFP packages using Revit and firm standards.
• Manage bidding, procurement, delivery and installation, ensuring successful project completion and client occupancy.
• Support clients in developing their office, space and furniture standards.
• Advocate for design excellence and sustainability within the project team.
