Job summary

Broad River Retail seeks a Furniture Handler Specialist for its Fort Mill DC. You will load/unload furniture, receive inventory with a barcode scanner, assemble showroom pieces, and prepare items for transfer or pickup. Expect physical work, safety focus, and opportunities for cross-training and growth.

You will operate in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, with some outdoor exposure, and be part of a team dedicated to delivering memory-making experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity and capacity to maneuver furniture.
• Ability to lift 75lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to listen to and follow directions and instructions.
• Oral communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Adaptability for changes in the work environment.

Responsibilities

• Loads & unloads trucks at warehouse and retail locations manually or with hand trucks.
• Identify and communicate any physical damage to IQ Ops.
• Use barcode scanner to systemically receive inventory.
• Assemble items for showroom display.
• Disassemble and/or wrap sold product for customer pickup or transfer.
• Maintain buildings, grounds, tools and equipment.
• Exhibit personal excellence by cross-training opportunities.
• Maintain personal and facility safety by following guidelines.
• Operate recycling machinery.
• Sort and process dunnage.
• Adhere to attendance policy.

At A Glance:Broad River Retail is currently seeking a Furniture Handler Specialist to join our new IQ OPS Team operating out of our Fort Mill DC Location. This well-organized team will partner with DC and Retail Operations and be customer facing.
