Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Supply Chain is seeking a Furniture Framer in Claremont, NC. The role involves building frames by assembling pre-constructed parts, inspecting for defects, and ensuring frames are square and well-finished.

Lifting is required as part of daily tasks within a fast-paced distribution environment. The position requires at least 3 years of frame-building experience in furniture manufacturing, accuracy in records, and the ability to interpret assembly instructions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of frame-building experience in a furniture manufacturing environment.
• Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Ability to interpret simple frame assembly instructions commonly placed in frame assembly manual.

Responsibilities

• Obtain pre-constructed frame parts from pallet by pushing, pulling and lifting onto workstation.
• Assemble the frame parts based on the design specifications and measurements.
• Ensure the frames are square, level, and ground off level to result in a smooth outside edge and that no staples are on outside of frame.
• Inspect frame for any defects such as misalignments, warping, cracks, staples and make corrections as needed.
