Job summary

Broad River Retail seeks a Furniture Equipment Operator Trainee to safely operate material handling equipment and a stock picker lift in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. You will receive, tag, and store products, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper product orientation while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Strong certification in stock picker and sit-down forklifts, plus manual dexterity, are required.

Qualifications

• Certification to operate stock picker and sit-down forklifts.
• Manual dexterity and capacity to maneuver furniture.
• Experience working in warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stock picker and material handling equipment.
• Safely load and unload products for distribution or storage.
• Accurately receive and tag products for distribution or storage.
• Perform cycle counts of physical inventory.
• Maintain building, grounds, and equipment cleanliness.

The position is responsible for operating a stock picker lift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety.
