Job summary

Broad River Retail is seeking a Furniture Handler Specialist for our IQ OPS Team at the Fort Mill DC. The role supports inventory transfers, receiving, loading/unloading, and showroom prep, with a focus on quality and customer-facing operations.

The position is contract-to-hire with benefits after 60 days, including medical, dental, and vision. Annual vacation, wellness days, paid holidays, and 401(k) with company match are included. Washington Paid Sick Leave applies upon conversion.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Willingness to perform manual loading/unloading and furniture prep.
• Comfort with non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks at warehouse and retail locations.
• Identify and communicate any furniture damage.
• Receive inventory using barcode scanning and system entries.
• Assemble items for showroom display and transfer between locations.
• Wrap sold product for customer pickup or transfer.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the facility with care.
• Participate in cross-training opportunities and uphold safety policies.
• Assist with floor moves, dunnage handling, and recycling duties.

This well-organized team will partner with DC and Retail Operations and be customer-facing.
