Job summary

Havertys is hiring a Furniture Delivery Driver to deliver and set up merchandise in customers’ homes. You will operate a delivery vehicle safely, communicate clearly with customers, and maintain on-time performance.

Starting pay is $20.50–$22.50 per hour, with potential increases based on experience. Shifts begin at 7:30 am and may run 4 or 5 days weekly, with Sundays off. We offer 401K with company match, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No delivery experience required but preferred; training provided.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to push, pull, and repeatedly team lift 150 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain DOT Certification (company paid).
• Must pass background checks and drug screening including THC testing.
• Shifts start at 7:30 am and may run 4–5 days per week, excluding Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and courteously.
• Deliver and set up furniture in customers’ homes.
• Meet customer time windows and communicate clearly.
• Document delivery using mobile device or provided paperwork.
• Load/unload furniture at customers’ homes, stores, or warehouses.
• Assist in warehouse or showroom as needed.
