Havertys Furniture in Webster, TX is seeking a Furniture Delivery Driver Assistant to support delivery drivers by safely delivering and setting up furniture in customers' homes. Teamwork, reliability, and a customer‑first mindset are essential as you help ensure a positive delivery experience.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with opportunities for higher pay with experience. Shifts begin at 7:30 am and run until completion, with most weeks offering 4–5 days; Sundays are not worked.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a current Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Must be willing and able to push, pull, and repeatedly team lift 150 pounds during shift.
• Must be able to achieve DOT Certification (company paid).
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening including THC testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the delivery vehicle safely when needed.
• Deliver and set up furniture in customers' homes.
• Maintain on-time delivery within the defined window.
• Accurately document the delivery transaction using mobile device or paperwork.
