Job summary

Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Furniture Delivery Driver Assistant to join our delivery team. You will be responsible for the delivery and setup of merchandise in customers’ homes, operating the delivery vehicle safely, and maintaining on-time performance.

The role offers hourly pay starting at $23.00–$25.00, with pay raises based on experience. Shifts begin at 7:30 am and typically run 4–5 days per week, with Sundays off, plus a comprehensive benefits package and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No delivery experience required but training is provided.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 150 pounds.
• Must obtain DOT Certification (company paid).
• Background check and drug screen required, including THC testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate the delivery vehicle, when needed, in a safe and courteous manner.
• Delivery and set up furniture to customers’ homes.
• Maintain high performance levels by keeping within the customer delivery time window.
• Accurately communicate and document the delivery transaction using either a mobile device or the paperwork provided.
• Unload or load product as needed at customers’ homes, stores, or warehouse.
• Assist in the warehouse or showroom if needed.
