Job summary

Consign Furniture is seeking a dependable, organized Furniture Sales & Consignment Specialist to join our team. You’ll assist customers on the showroom floor, answer phones and emails, and help determine which furniture we accept for consignment.

This hands-on role involves reviewing photos submitted by consignors to decide acceptance, learning furniture styles and quality, and supporting daily showroom operations with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Comfortable speaking with customers in person, on the phone, and via email/text.
• Interest in furniture, home furnishings, interior design, resale or retail.
• Pays close attention to details and learns company standards.
• Professional with consignors when an item isn’t a good fit.

Responsibilities

• Review furniture photos and pre-screen items according to acceptance criteria.
• Greet customers and assist them on the showroom floor.
• Assist with sales and complete customer transactions.
• Answer calls, emails and text messages professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized showroom and assist with store policies.
• Work with sales, customer service, receiving and management.
