Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Powell, TN to assist families with funeral and cemetery service selections. The role involves walk-in and inbound lead handling, plus proactive prospecting to generate new business.

You will receive training pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks and have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions based on performance. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for offsite meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; travel to client events.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook).
• Experience using a CRM or lead management system preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
• Generate and qualify leads through walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting.
• Schedule and conduct client meetings offsite as needed; mileage reimbursed.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and coordinate with teams.
• Represent Everstory Partners with professionalism and empathy at all times.
