Job summary

Distro is seeking a General Manager in San Diego to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple departments including Human Resources/Accounting, Building Grounds and Vehicles, Funeral Directors/Arrangers, and Removal/EDRS staff. The GM will ensure staff accountability, exceptional customer service, and community engagement while guiding financial performance and vendor relationships.

The role requires leadership of scheduling, labor management, and compliance with OSHA, FTC rules, and safety

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above; hospitality, hotel management, or business degree preferred.
• Experience: 4–9 years in hospitality and business management.

Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership: recruit, train, and manage licensed funeral directors, arrangers, and staff across departments.
• Financial Management: oversee location P&L, budgets, pricing, and vendor relations.
• Operations & Compliance: ensure services run on schedule and comply with state/federal regulations.
