Job summary

Duggan's Serra Mortuary is seeking a General Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple departments, ensuring exceptional service to families. The role requires managing staff, budgeting, pricing, and compliance with state and federal rules while building strong community ties.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in hospitality/business and 4–9 years of related experience, with a commitment to a compassionate, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above in hospitality, hotel management or business.
• Experience: 4–9 years in hospitality and business management.
• Training: opportunities within funeral service industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and lead departments to ensure service excellence.
• Manage P&L, pricing discussions, vendor relations, and staffing plans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, FTC and related standards.
• Lead community relations and deliver a compassionate client experience.
• Maintain facilities, grounds, vehicles and service delivery readiness.
