Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a General Manager to oversee cemetery and funeral home locations within a designated portfolio. You will lead a hands-on team, drive profitability, and model integrity and compassionate service while achieving budgeted goals.

You will recruit, develop, and manage staff, review performance, and coordinate weekly leadership meetings to align operations with company standards. Availability for holidays and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related; or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in management and personnel supervision.
• Prior experience with client-facing service operations and leading complex operations across varied workflows.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of daily operations across the portfolio with P&L responsibility.
• Achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profit levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues promptly.
• Lead, train, and develop teams across multiple locations.
• Conduct weekly managers meetings and review staffing, development, and training requirements.
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain staff per company standards.
• Perform regular performance reviews and create development plans.
• Manage merchandise and property inventory for locations.
• Cultivate vendor relationships to meet location/customer needs.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and budget adherence.
