Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Funeral Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Montlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Raleigh, NC. You will plan, direct, and supervise funeral services and administrative support, ensuring compliance and compassionate service to families.

The role requires a licensed funeral director and embalmer or the ability to obtain licensure, plus 5+ years in funeral home operations and 1 year of supervisory experience. Some travel to events may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the operations of a Funeral Home.
• Licensed funeral director and embalmer or the ability to obtain a state license.
• 1 year of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct all activities relating to funeral services- preparation of funeral home facilities, supervision of funeral directors, perform as an arranger when required.
• Direct and supervise the administrative and support services of the funeral home- embalming services, repair and maintenance services, approve expenditures.
• Plan and implement strategies to increase the client base for the company- including direct involvement in marketing strategies.
• Ensure coordination with governmental agencies and service organizations.
