Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group in Memphis, TN seeks an Assistant Funeral Home Manager at Memorial Park Funeral Home to lead daily operations and ensure compassionate service.

You will build community relationships, guide a cooperative team, and drive quality outcomes in a high-service environment, reporting to the Memorial Park leadership. This role requires a Tennessee Funeral Director license and a track record in funeral service leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• 2+ years of management or leadership experience, funeral profession preferred
• Must possess an active Funeral Director License in Tennessee, as required by State & local regulations
• Excellent customer relations and actively looking for ways to help others
• Professional communication and effective leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Actively build relationships in the community to educate and guide families in their at-need funeral decision
• Develop and maintain community connections to establish a community referral network
• Lead and develop a cooperative team environment that is respectful, communicative, accountable, and service-oriented
