Job summary

sci in Snellville, GA is seeking a results-driven leader to oversee Financial Management, Operations, Funeral Arrangements & Directing, and Leadership development for our funeral services location.

You will develop annual budgets, monitor performance, coach staff, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate community outreach, and act as MC for ceremonies with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical diploma in Funeral Services or Mortuary Science preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science or other degree as required by state board.
• Funeral Director license as required by state/province law.
• At least five years of industry experience with increasing responsibilities.
• At least two years' experience guiding staff and communicating expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plan and budget with Market Leadership and set financial goals.
• Collaborate with Finance Field Manager to monitor financial trends and drive targets.
• Approve expenditures and manage overtime within budget.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensure timely services and resolve escalated issues.
• Coordinate with local management for resources and improvements; liaise with corporate teams.
• Participate in community involvement as part of promotional efforts.
• Ensure facilities are maintained and budgets allocated for repairs.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiencies; support change.
• May preside as MC for visitation or services and discuss life insurance/benefits.
