Description

We are seeking a compassionate individual to assist our funeral team with transportation, facility upkeep, and support during services. Under the supervision of a licensed Funeral Director, you will learn about the industry and develop your career in death care.

The Impact You Will Make

This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact families by assisting with transportation, attending services, and supporting logistical and administrative functions related to funeral services.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the funeral home (dusting, vacuuming, cleaning)
• Assisting during funeral services and visitations (greeting visitors, coordinating pallbearers, arranging transport and parking)
• Transporting individuals with care
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in client relations, facilities maintenance, or related fields
• A strong desire to pursue a career in mortuary science or end-of-life planning
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Valid state driver’s license
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• High concentration and attention span
• Ability to stand/walk occasionally and lift or push frequently
