The JOY FM is seeking dependable Funeral Assistants to support funeral services, visitations, and graveside ceremonies in a respectful, compassionate manner. This role helps families during difficult times with professionalism, dignity, and care, and offers flexible, supplemental income.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as services require.

Responsibilities

• Assist with funeral and memorial services, visitations, and graveside ceremonies.
• Greet and assist families and guests.
• Direct guests and provide general hospitality during services.
• Park and retrieve vehicles when needed.
• Set up and break down chapels, visitation rooms, and service areas.
• Assist with floral arrangements, memorial displays, and register books.
• Escort family members and pallbearers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of service areas.
• Help transport flowers, equipment, and other materials between locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support funeral operations.
