Winston Taylor seeks a Funds Innovation & Knowledge Management Attorney to translate recurring workstreams into repeatable tools, templates, and processes across fund formation, investor negotiations, side letters, closings, and ongoing fund operations.

The role sits within Practice Operations, reporting to the Funds practice, and focuses on creating scalable, profitability-enhancing workflows. 4+ years in private funds and IL Bar admission are required.

Qualifikationen

• JD required; admission to Illinois Bar is mandatory.
• 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in private funds or investment management at a top-tier firm.
• Willing to commute to office 3-4 days per week.
• Experience with fund formation, sponsor representation, investor negotiations, side letters, subscription documents, regulatory filings, secondaries, co-investments, or fund operations is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior attorneys on workflow design, process improvement, knowledge management, and matter delivery.
• Strong project management, analytical, and drafting skills; good judgment in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

• Build Funds knowledge libraries and maintain model documents and templates.
• Pilot AI and legal technology; translate guidance into Funds-specific workflows.
• Drive adoption of standardized workflows across formation, regulatory, investor-side, and secondaries matters.
• Manage Funds innovation projects from scoping through implementation and reporting.
• Monitor legal, regulatory, and market developments; prepare client alerts as needed.
• Maintain a 500-hour annual billable expectation on active Funds matters.
