Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a part-time remote contractor to apply funds law expertise to train and evaluate advanced AI systems used for real-world contract review. This role focuses on improving how AI identifies legal risk, interprets contract language, and delivers precise outputs for legal practitioners.

The position is remote, task-based, with an average handling time of ~3.5 hours per task. Compensation ranges from $90 to $150 per hour, paid per completed task.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
• Experience with fund management, fund formation, contract redlining, and contract negotiations.
• Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical ability.
• Ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology, with cross-disciplinary collaboration in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve model performance and precision.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for consistent, rigorous assessment of AI contract work.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-enabled contract review.
• Contribute legal judgment drawn from drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology-related agreements.
