Job summary

UNC Health Nash Foundation seeks a Development Coordinator to advance fundraising goals through managing events, annual giving campaigns, donor engagement initiatives, and strategic communications with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.

Working with the Executive Director and Foundation staff, the role blends project management, fundraising, event planning, marketing, and donor stewardship to support both annual and long‑term campaigns in a fast-paced, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Associate’s in business or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years in business services, accounting, or nonprofit administration.
• Experience managing fundraising events with sponsorship solicitation, revenue generation, attendee engagement and event marketing.
• Experience developing integrated marketing and communication plans to support fundraising initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability coordinating multiple projects with deadlines, budgets and stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of fundraising principles, donor stewardship, sponsorship development and community engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, execution and evaluation of the Foundation's fundraising events and donor cultivation activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase attendance, sponsorship participation, donor engagement and revenue.
• Oversee administrative support activities including donor acknowledgement, stewardship, and records management.
• Develop and execute digital marketing and communication strategies to support campaigns, events and donor engagement.
