Job summary

UNC Health Care Johnston Foundation is seeking a Development Coordinator to organize donor activities, process gifts, manage the donor database, and support annual fundraising campaigns.

The role collaborates with Foundation leadership, the Foundation Board, committees and volunteers to translate mission values into daily work and to plan cultivation and stewardship events. This onsite position requires a bachelor’s degree and nonprofit fundraising experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years nonprofit volunteer, fundraising and leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate executive activities and board/committee meetings.
• Organize department records and manage office supplies.
• Develop and implement annual giving plan and donor stewardship.
• Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters.
• Coordinate donor communications, direct mail and fundraising events.
• Support marketing for annual gift campaigns including materials and e-communications.
• Plan cultivation and stewardship events for annual donors.
