Job summary

UNC Health Nash Foundation is seeking a Development Coordinator to advance fundraising goals through managing signature events, annual giving campaigns, donor engagement, and strategic communications. You will work closely with the Executive Director, volunteers, and hospital leadership to drive revenue growth and strengthen community relationships.

The role combines project management, event planning, marketing, and donor stewardship to support both annual and long-term fundraising success.

Qualifications

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience coordinating events and donor communications.
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and donor stewardship.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, execution and evaluation of the Foundation's signature fundraising events and donor engagement activities.
• Manage event logistics, budgets, vendor coordination and attendee experience.
• Develop and implement event marketing, sponsorship and attendee engagement strategies.
• Coordinate with Executive Director, committees, sponsors and community partners to maximize revenue and impact.
• Oversee donor acknowledgement, stewardship processes and post-event follow-up communications.
• Develop digital communications, newsletters and content to support fundraising campaigns.
