Job summary

Development Special Events Associate provides critical administrative and coordination support for Reproductive Freedom for All's signature fundraising events. The role handles donor inquiries and ensures Leadership Councils have necessary information for outreach.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area; Salary: $50,000–$58,000; Full Time, Non-Exempt. Reports to the Director for Strategic Engagement and Special Events.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in event planning, fundraising, or donor relations.
• Experience supporting fundraising events and donor databases preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite administrative and project coordination support for events.
• Create graphics and event materials for events and assist with design needs.
• Coordinate donor acknowledgement and post-event stewardship.
• Plan and execute pre- and post-event activities; onsite meetings attendance.
• Manage event data: invitations, donor records, revenue, reporting.
• Draft and distribute event communications via mail merge.
• Enter donor interactions and attendance in the database.
• Coordinate event registration pages and web content with the digital team.
• Serve as liaison for Peninsula and SF Leadership Councils.
• Support vendor management, timelines, registration, onsite logistics.
• Prepare agendas and briefing materials for meetings.
• Assist with donor outreach materials and follow-ups.
• Coordinate recruitment and training of staff volunteers.
• Assist with post-event reconciliation and analysis.
