Job summary

ForKids is seeking an Event Support Specialist to coordinate logistics for fundraising events, donor receptions, and agency functions. You will work with the Development, Education, and Marketing teams, vendors, and community partners to ensure smooth event execution and a high-quality guest experience.

The role emphasizes logistics and operations over the creative aspects of event planning, with responsibilities spanning timelines, vendor management, and on-site execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in event planning, fundraising, or related field.
• Nonprofit experience preferred.
• Experience managing complex events and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, donor receptions, auction packages, volunteer activities, and agency functions.
• Develop and maintain event timelines, checklists, production schedules, and logistical plans.
• Oversee on-site event setup, production, guest experience and services, and breakdown.
• Coordinate and schedule Art Auction Committee meetings and serve as secretary.
• Manage all logistical aspects of auction artwork production.
