Job summary

YWCA Greater Pittsburgh is seeking a Development Manager to support fundraising, donor engagement, and stewardship. The role focuses on individual giving and requires attention to detail, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building to drive revenue. Reports to the VP of Development.

The position emphasizes coordination across the Development Team to plan campaigns, cultivate donors, and oversee grant writing, events, and donor communications. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and basic graphic design (Canva) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of individual giving strategies and donor retention.
• Cultivate and maintain donor relationships to enhance connection to the mission.
• Plan and execute multichannel annual fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, social media, events).
• Solicit donors and partners and oversee donor recognition and impact reports.
• Assist in writing proposals, narratives, and reports.
