Job summary

World Central Kitchen is seeking an Associate, Fundraising Systems and Research to enhance our fundraising data infrastructure and ensure reliable data for donor engagement and growth. You will support data hygiene, process improvements, and basic Salesforce administration within the Development Operations team.

The role combines fundraising and systems work, with opportunities to conduct prospect research, maintain donor profiles, and translate fundraising needs into data systems for scalable

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising operations, data management, and prospect research.

Responsibilities

• Serve as touchpoint between fundraising teams and Development Operations, translating needs into data/tasks and tracking progress.
• Conduct targeted prospect research to support donor relations, stewardship strategies, and major gift opportunities.
• Partner with Donor Relations to ensure research findings are reflected in CRM data to support segmentation and pipeline projects.
• Assist in developing tools that support prospect identification and portfolio-building activities.
• Provide CRM best-practices guidance and troubleshooting to donor-facing teams.
• Maintain data quality and integrity in Salesforce CRM through audits, deduplication, and correcting inconsistencies.
• Audit and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in Salesforce to support fundraising decisions and segmentation.
• Build ad-hoc lists and reports for data validation and operational troubleshooting.
• Perform basic Salesforce administration tasks including user setup and permission assignments.
