Job summary

Hearts Alive Village in Las Vegas is seeking a Development Manager to lead our growing fundraising program full-time. You will turn plans into action, strengthen donor relationships, and build systems that support sustainable revenue growth.

You’ll work closely with the CEO, coach the Development & Donor Engagement Coordinator, manage annual giving, grants, and partnerships, and ensure campaigns stay on schedule while expanding donor communications and CRM usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of nonprofit development or similar experience.
• Experience with annual giving, grants, or corporate fundraising.
• Experience cultivating and soliciting individual donors.
• Experience with donor CRM and fundraising reports.
• Strong project management, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines without compromising details.

Hearts Alive Village is looking for a Development Manager to join our team full-time in Las Vegas.

We’re entering an exciting season of growth, and this role will be right at the heart of it. You’ll help turn our fundraising plans into action, strengthen relationships with the people who believe in our mission, and build the systems that help us continue doing more for animals and the people who love them.

What You’ll Do

At the heart of this role are four things: executing with excellence, building meaningful relationships, coaching and collaborating, and creating sustainable systems.

You’ll:

• Keep fundraising moving. Turn our annual development plan into action, manage the fundraising calendar, keep campaigns and appeals on track, and monitor progress toward revenue goals.
• Build meaningful donor relationships. Lead annual giving and cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of mid-level donors.
• Grow grants and partnerships. Manage grant applications and reporting, coordinate with grant‑writing partners, and nurture corporate sponsorships and partnerships.
• Build systems we can count on. Strengthen our donor data, reporting, acknowledgments, procedures, and CRM so our fundraising program has a solid foundation for growth.
• Lead and collaborate. Coach our Development & Donor Engagement Coordinator and work alongside our CEO, staff, consultants, vendors, and community partners to keep priorities moving forward.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of nonprofit development or similar experience
• Experience with annual giving, grants, or corporate fundraising
• Experience cultivating and soliciting individual donors
• Experience working with a donor CRM and fundraising reports
• Strong project management, organizational, and written communication skills
• A knack for juggling multiple deadlines without letting the details slip

Experience supervising others, managing grant calendars, working with fundraising vendors or campaigns, or implementing a donor CRM is a PLUS!

The Good Stuff

This full-time role offers a salary of $60,000–$80,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package after the introductory period, including
