Overview

A well-established alternative lender is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Funding Adivsor to join our sales team. This role is focused on providing businesses with Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) loans. We are seeking to hire an experienced candidate for this role with alternative finance experience and working with MCA loans. We are ideally targeting an experienced Funding Manager with some leadership experience who would start as an individual contributor and eventually manage a team.

Responsibilities

Receive and review submitted MCA applications from our processing team.
Present MCA offers and funding options to qualified business owners.
Negotiate terms and answer questions to address borrower concerns about the MCA product.
Coordinate with underwriting, funding, and legal teams to ensure smooth processing of MCA deals.
Manage a pipeline of approvals to ensure deals close in a timely manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and renewals.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in the alternative lending space.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business loans, with a preference for experience in Merchant Cash Advance or other alternative lending products.
Proven track record of success in a closing or funding advisor role.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of financial products and sales cycles, particularly in the context of business-to-business sales.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment.
