Job summary

Rocket Close is seeking a Funding Specialist to manage the client funding process from start to finish, ensuring accurate disbursements and resolving reconciliation issues.

You will secure funds, maintain compliance with money-handling protocols and training, and collaborate across business units to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Attention to detail and the ability to identify trends will help meet SLAs and mitigate potential fraud risks.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience handling money in customer service or client-facing settings.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain state licenses if required.
• Proven ability to recognize patterns, address discrepancies and apply effective solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Secure funds from relevant parties to resolve shortages.
• Maintain compliance with money-out role, including training and background checks.
• Collaborate with multiple business units and research tasks to resolve issues.
• Investigate shortages and overages to identify root causes and solutions.
• Adhere to SLAs and ALTA Best Practices.
• Identify trends related to lenders or processes to drive improvements.
• Identify potential fraud risks and mitigate losses.
