Job summary

RSM is seeking a Senior to join our Fund Services + practice. You will contribute to private equity and real estate fund administrations and financial reporting, including quarterly and annual statements and investor packages.

You’ll become proficient in the firm’s technology platform, assist with onboarding, manage capital calls and distributions, coordinate with auditors, and mentor junior staff. This role supports clients across real estate and private equity funds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fund accounting or fund administration experience, preferably private equity, real estate, or other alt funds.
• Interpret/apply Limited Partnership Agreements terms for private equity funds.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CA, or progress toward a relevant certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and investor reporting packages.
• Manage day-to-day operating activities for fund administration clients (cash management, wires, fees, waterfall calculations).
• Become expert user of the firm’s fund administration platform.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and setting up investors/reports.
• Prepare capital calls and distributions in the platform.
• Maintain investor data and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax providers for year-end audits.
