Landing Point, a technology-focused investment firm in Boston, is seeking an Operations Associate to join their team. You will review NAV reporting, investor statements, and quarterly finances, while assisting fund audits and month-end close.

The role emphasizes AI workflow tools and data analytics to enhance operations. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics and 2–3 years in accounting or fund operations, with hedge/private fund audit experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Two to three years of accounting industry or fund operations experience.
• Experience in hedge fund or private fund audit preferred.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for workflow streamlining.
• Experience or interest in data sourcing and analytics.
• Coding or scripting experience (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review fund administrator NAV reporting, quarter-end investor statements, and quarterly financial statements.
• Review capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
• Assist in preparation of fund annual reports and annual fund audit.
• Support ad-hoc marketing and compliance projects.
• Manage accounts payable & expense processing, including coding, routing, and reconciling invoices.
• Support month-end close, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain intercompany entries and expense allocations.
• Review and help prepare marketing and investor presentation materials.
