A global leader in asset management is seeking an Accounting professional in New York. This role involves monthly fund performance analysis, maintaining detailed expenditure summaries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree and has 3-5 years of relevant experience, with strong U.S. GAAP expertise and Excel skills. This full-time position offers a salary range of $115,000 to $135,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years of public and private experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end close process.
• Calculate management fees & incentive fees.
• Analyze the profit/loss and fund performance monthly.
• Report quarterly and annual accounting information.
• Maintain detailed summary tracking expenditures across funds.
• Prepare fund expenditures packages and wire transfer requests.
• Identify and analyze daily cash activity.
• Responsible for portfolio valuation review and P&L attribution.
• Coordinate the year-end audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the month-end close process including review of NAV packages prepared by the fund administrators and trustees with all the relevant supporting documentation
• Calculate management fees & incentive fees on hedge and PE style structures
• Analyze the profit/loss and fund performance on a monthly basis
• Report quarterly and annual accounting information to corporate accounting team to generate 10Q/10K
• Maintain detailed summary tracking expenditures across funds
• Prepare fund expenditures packages and wire transfer requests
• Identify and analyze daily cash activity for various fund entities
• Responsible for portfolio valuation review and P&L attribution reporting for the funds
• Coordinate the year-end audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Big4 experience preferred
