Job summary

Career Group Search is seeking a Controller - Fund & Finance for a rapidly growing fintech at the intersection of finance and tech. You own financial and fund control, with outsourcing handled by specialists, and you act as the internal owner of financial accuracy.

You will manage NAV reconciliation, capital calls, investor reporting, treasury, and regulatory support, working closely with investment teams and outside providers.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in fund accounting, fund operations, or controllership roles.
• Experience with reviewing NAV packages and capital calls.
• Strong grounding in GAAP and outsourced accounting controls.

Responsibilities

• Own fund administrator relationships and day‑to‑day outsourcing oversight.
• Review NAV packages, management fees, and LP allocations for accuracy.
• Oversee treasury, banking, bill payments, and cash positioning.
• Sign off monthly financials produced by external accountants.
• Coordinate tax filings and audit relationships; support regulatory filings.
• Own KYC/AML and investor onboarding controls with vendors and counsel.
• Lead crypto onchain transfers controls and documentation integrity.
