Job summary

Capital Tech Opportunities seeks a Finance Manager to oversee funds accounting, investor reporting, and operational finance. You will validate statements prepared by our fund administrator, own the audit process, and partner with deal teams to deliver timely financial reporting and strong controls.

Expect involvement in NAV reviews, quarterly reporting, portfolio valuations, and automation projects to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years' experience at an Investment Advisor and/or public accounting role.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Creative problem-solving ability and sound judgment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with all levels.
  • Familiar with AI-powered tools for financial analysis, reporting automation, and workflow optimization.
  • Proficiency with data visualization / BI tools like Excel, Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

  • Review quarterly NAVs and capital reporting to investors.
  • Review quarterly financial statements, management fee and carry calculations for investor reporting.
  • Manage year-end audit process with outside accountants.
  • Oversee third-party fund administrator reporting/operations.
  • Support quarterly portfolio company valuations and data for the Valuation Committee.
  • Coordinate with Investor Relations for presentations and fundraising materials.
  • Ensure compliance with partnership agreements and drive process improvements.
