ProPivotal seeks an experienced Fund Controller to own fund reporting and partner with leadership on portfolio performance. The role oversees fund accounting, statements, and investor communications with a focus on accuracy and timely closes.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement in a growing real estate investment firm, with a base salary between $140,000 and $170,000 plus an annual bonus up to 20% and full benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of accounting experience in real estate investment, private equity real estate, or REIT environments.
• Strong grasp of fund and multi-entity accounting.
• Experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting, reporting, and close processes.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage investor reporting, capital account statements, and performance reporting.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and third-party partners.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Partner with acquisitions and asset management on transactions and portfolio activity.
• Support audits, tax reporting, and process improvements.

Key Details

• Pay Range:$140,000 - $170,000 base
• Bonus:Includes annual bonus up to 20%
• Benefits:Includes health, dental, vision, 401k, and other full-time employee benefits
• Work Arrangement:Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote per week)
