Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of professional work experience in accounting, with a focus on investment accounting.
• Strong knowledge of partnership and investment company accounting.
• Experience applying US GAAP to investment entities and related financial reporting.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage and develop accounting teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients and manage client relationships on private equity accounting and reporting.
• Facilitate discussions between client and internal groups; manage required documentation.
• Review capital structures to determine data requirements for investment and fund accounting.
• Review capital calls, distributions, and valuation activity for client investments.
• Review client reports and financial statements for accuracy and timeliness of delivery.
• Lead and supervise a team to understand client requirements and deliver quality services on time.
• Automate and document processes to improve efficiency and controls.
